ABOUT

Career in a Nutshell

Since 2004, I have dedicated myself to the evolution of art of motion, crafting an advanced diploma in Contemporary Pilates and pioneering FAMO Fascia Movement (formerly Slings Myofascial Training)—a unique fascia-focused practice and professional education created to benefit life. This journey has involved developing related products, as well as travelling the world to present, teach, and learn from remarkable individuals. Along the way, I have authored twenty-two training manuals, published an expanding series of handbooks in several languages, and collaborated with fellow authors.

Together with my amazing twin sister Monika, our whole-hearted team of international educators, teachers, and partners, we have cultivated a global community built on mutual support, collaboration, and a desire to share knowledge generously, empowering individuals to take their wellbeing into their own hands.

At the Core

At the core of my being is a commitment to integrity and learning. Through my work, I strive to bridge the gap between knowledge and conscious experience, aiming to provide practical tools for:

  • finding our way back home into the body and gaining agency over our physical, mental, emotional, and relational wellbeing.
  • recognising, feeling (not just understand), and utilise the body-mind’s resources to our advantage.
  • moving forward on the path of wholeness, thereby attaining greater vitality, inner peace, and joie de vivre on the go.
  • building presilience to rise to moments of challenge fully resourced, with skill, and even ease.
  • greeting, appreciating, and fully experiencing moments of joy, success, and tranquillity.
  • being more present for life.

In the field of education, my strength lies in synthesising complex concepts and scientific information and translating them into practical applications for the body, mind, heart, and spirit.

I see myself as an ambassador of creative living—with all the unexpected discoveries, challenges, and rewards this encompasses. My base is in Switzerland. My lifestyle is nomadic.

To stay well and of service to others, some of my daily practices are non-negotiables: intention setting upon waking up and a cold shower, an hour of FAMO Fascia Movement plus a 12-minute mindfulness practice in the morning, and an expression of appreciation in the evening. I also make sure that I get sufficient sleep and my daily dose of learning from books, podcasts, or other mediums.

I walk whenever and wherever I can. And the more I manage to weave barefoot running and hiking, cross-country skiing, creative times, and quality connections with friends into my schedule, the better I feel.
